The City of Sault Ste. Marie is conducting a search for a FIREFIGHTER | PARAMEDIC or PARAMEDIC with ability to obtain Fire I and II. The position is a uniformed position, subject to working 24-hour shifts. The position involves the delivery of emergency medical services as well as specialized rules as designed and will use his/her training and be equipped to take the proper positive action under the most trying circumstances.

- Firefighter | Paramedic Starting Wage is $51,063.57
- Paramedic Starting Wage is $41,353.17

Candidate Requirements:
- Paramedic License from the State of Michigan Department of Public Health and/or Nat'l Reg Certificate
- MI Firefighters Training Council Cert. as a State Certified Firefighter - Level I & II (or ability to obtain)
- Hazardous material training -Awareness Level & Operations Level
