Parks & Recreation Advisory Board

The Parks and Recreation Board shall act as an advisory board to the City Manager and advise the City Manager concerning all phases of a parks and recreation program for the City, including the control of the Pullar Community Building, including all activities, receipts, expenditures, supervision, and control of the parks and recreation system and the Pullar Community Building.

Meeting Schedule

Meetings are scheduled for the last Tuesday of every other month at 6:00 PM in the Commission Chambers at City Hall. Meeting's can be cancelled or rescheduled, if necessary. The Board meetings are governed by the latest edition of Roberts’ Rules of Order.

Membership and Term

The board consists of nine (9) members appointed by the City Commission. All members must be residents of the City of Sault Ste. Marie.  Members serve three (3) year terms.
