Services

The City Clerk’s Office serves as the central point of contact between the citizens and the City of Sault Ste. Marie government. This office maintains all official city records, including those for the Riverside Cemetery, and oversees the administration of all State, Local, and Federal elections.

The City Clerk is appointed by and operates under the direction of the City Manager. In addition to traditional duties, the Clerk also acts as the Purchasing Agent and the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) Coordinator for the City.
