Music in the Park

Take in live performances from some of the most talented musical acts around right from the Soo Locks Park. Music in the Park takes place every Wednesday throughout the summer (July thru August).

Concerts are free to attend; however, donations are always welcomed to help cover the series. Entertainment begins at 7 PM.

A diverse selection of local and regional entertainment will perform tunes from a variety of musical genres ranging from traditional country, folk, rock, blues, original tunes and more!

Each year the Downtown Development Authority receives a grant from the Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs which helps offset the summer’s concert series. Twenty-two local businesses and community partners also generously help pay for Music in the Park in addition to grants and crowd donations.
