The Information and Technology department is responsible for providing the City of Sault Ste Marie with proactive leadership in city wide information, communications, and telecommunications technologies. The primary responsibilities include providing and maintaining the City’s complex data and communications network infrastructures, online services & presence, cloud environments, enterprise applications, ensuring the security of the City’s information and data processes and provision of disaster recovery and business continuity.
